Bright Start To 2020

Peace 2019 – you will certainly not be forgotten, for both the good and very very bad. Hoping for a 2020 as bright as this sweater. Obsessing over neon right now, especialyl this La La Land Creative Co Neon Dolman Sleeve Ribbed Top. Another find at the Nordstrom half-yearly sale, that was not actually part of the sale :).  It’s way more neon in person than the product image on Nordstrom. I bought an xs, it’s oversized and fits very comfortably.

Pink Makes Everything Pretty

If you know me, you know I am not a big sweater or cardigan lover. I RARELY buy them. The ones I actually have an interest in are always WAY too expensive. The ones that are cheap, are always poor quality and ugly. I am obsessed with the pink color of this cardigan, in person it’s almost neon. I stumbled upon it at the Nordstrom half-yearly sale, of course not on sale – BUT only $49.00! It’s super high-quality and cozy. I got an XS because it’s oversized.

Christmas Sparkles

I really wanted to post this outfit because it was special to me. This was our first Christmas without my Nani and my Uncle. My grandmother light up every room that she entered with her glitzy outfits and fun personality. I wanted to wear something this Christmas in honor of her. AKIRA is my go-to place when shopping for a night out or formal occasion. I found the sparkliest pants I could find, paired with this adorable suede off-the-shoulder crop top. I absolutely LOVED this look. The top can be worn dressed up or dressed down with jeans. The sparkly pants are super comfortable and flattering (they do shed though). This is an easy and fun look for NYE.

Wild Like Honey

It’s starting to finally feel like fall in Chicago! That means time to whip out the stomping boots, PSL’s, and a good Gossip Girl fall episode. Nothing says fall quite like a Gossip Girl Thanksgiving episode and this plaid skirt is giving me all the Blair Waldorf feels. My favorite stomping boots have already hit the town 3x this season and I’m super happy they are in perfect condition. Unfortunately, they are still full price at DSW, however, very worth it (linked above). My Wild Honey tee is marked down to $7.99 at Forever21.

Holding Onto Summer

Labor Day Weekend is days away, which means summer is nearing its end. I am breaking out all my favorite summer pieces before it’s too late. The gingham top I am wearing is a few years old from Target, however, I linked a very similar piece super on sale from Forever 21. The white mini is by FAR my favorite purchase this summer. Although it is sold out in white, it’s still available in black and in denim (the denim is super cute). I haven’t been too much on my blogging game lately. I have been having WAY too much fun and enjoying my summer. I am also very ready for fall fashion. Cheers to PSL’s and cozy sweaters. P.S – PSL’s are back at Starbucks tomorrow August 27th!

Hot Girl Summer

It’s been FAR too long since I have posted any outfit details to my blog. I have been having WAY too much fun this summer, honestly by far the best summer I have had. Also known as “hot girl summer”. I am also starting to be pretty over my summer wardrobe. Anyone else? BUT I did find this adorable yellow bodysuit from the BP. department at Nordstrom for only $10.20. Such a steal!

Beat The Heat

Feeling very fortunate to be able to work in a casual environment that allows tube tops and ripped jeans. Summer in Chicago is heating up fast. I’m beating the heat with my hair tied up, comfy ripped jeans, and easy light-weight tube tops. My jeans, adorable bandana, and tube top are all from Target! Georgie is clearly not the biggest fan of this heat…
