It’s no sssssecret that snakeskin is huge this fall. It’s a trendy animal print popping up on bags, shoes, jackets – you name it. Just like the animal itself, snakeskin print can be intimidating. I am sharing 10 ways to rock the print this fall all under $150! Leave comments and share with me how you will be rocking the print this fall.
With an extra hour of sunshine, it can only mean… SPRING IS NEAR! I am far too excited about spring & this seasons colors, so I am just going to jump right in! It’s time to celebrate the change of seasons The Girl & The Bag style with handbags in Pantone’s Spring 2018 colors. This springs color palette is quite different than 2017. Last year, we saw a lot of bright, bold, & playful colors. In 2018, we see a few bright pops of color, however, we see them complimented by subtle pastels & earthy tones. These colors combined create a very dramatic effect this spring.
My absolute favorite color in this palette is Chili Oil which is an earthy brown based red. This shade is so unique for spring, however, it’s also seasonless and can be rocked all year round. What are your favorite Pantone colors this spring? Some of you have already shared your favorites with me Via Instagram, however, leave comments here & tell me what you think!
Happy spring shopping!
TGIF! What better way to celebrate by going shopping for a new handbag!
Did November 1 sneak up on anyone else? I feel like just 2 weekends ago I was wearing shorts? Now, here I am wearing my parka and drinking hot chai tea lattes. Between getting settled into my condo and being crazy busy at work, I, unfortunately, haven’t had time to blog. Which upsets me because it’s truly something I love doing. So I decided to come back and write about my favorite topic ever – handbags.
If you are new to my blog, every year I find my favorite handbags in Pantone’s colors of the season. The color selection from Pantone this season has a really wide range of both cool and warm tones. We are seeing gorgeous pops of colors this season in sweaters, bags, and jackets. I really love bright pops of color in the fall and winter, it helps to get us out of our gray and black winter clothes rut.
My absolute favorite color in the Pantone Fall 2017 collection is Autumn Maple. I purchased a pair of Sam Edelman booties in this color and have been getting so many compliments. It is a perfect fall earthy shade with a dash of a cinnamon. It is a great neutral that will go with everything, however, it’s not your basic brown color that everyone has.
So before hitting the stores this weekend check out my favorite bags in Pantone’s Fall 2017 colors. Although this blog is little later than I usually post, it’s just in time for the holiday season! 😉
Leave comments and let me know what you are loving!
Christmas is near!
Do you need gift inspiration? Or maybe you need ideas for your own holiday list? It probably goes without saying, but handbags are my favorite gift to both give & receive. Unique clutches, pop-of-color crossbody bags, and high-quality everyday bags all make great gifts because they are something you typically wouldn’t buy for yourself. In addition, bag accessories are an AMAZING gift. Bag accessories such as guitar straps, charms, and monogram pins/patches have become a must-have trend in 2016. Bag accessories are a great add on to your handbag gift or a great stand alone gift. Don’t be fooled, even the tiniest bag charm can cost you a pretty penny. I have compiled two lists in this blog post: 10 Holiday Handbag Favorites & 10 Holiday Handbag Accessories. I have tried to include at least one item for every price point.
