It’s starting to finally feel like fall in Chicago! That means time to whip out the stomping boots, PSL’s, and a good Gossip Girl fall episode. Nothing says fall quite like a Gossip Girl Thanksgiving episode and this plaid skirt is giving me all the Blair Waldorf feels. My favorite stomping boots have already hit the town 3x this season and I’m super happy they are in perfect condition. Unfortunately, they are still full price at DSW, however, very worth it (linked above). My Wild Honey tee is marked down to $7.99 at Forever21.
Labor Day Weekend is days away, which means summer is nearing its end. I am breaking out all my favorite summer pieces before it’s too late. The gingham top I am wearing is a few years old from Target, however, I linked a very similar piece super on sale from Forever 21. The white mini is by FAR my favorite purchase this summer. Although it is sold out in white, it’s still available in black and in denim (the denim is super cute). I haven’t been too much on my blogging game lately. I have been having WAY too much fun and enjoying my summer. I am also very ready for fall fashion. Cheers to PSL’s and cozy sweaters. P.S – PSL’s are back at Starbucks tomorrow August 27th!
It’s been FAR too long since I have posted any outfit details to my blog. I have been having WAY too much fun this summer, honestly by far the best summer I have had. Also known as “hot girl summer”. I am also starting to be pretty over my summer wardrobe. Anyone else? BUT I did find this adorable yellow bodysuit from the BP. department at Nordstrom for only $10.20. Such a steal!
Feeling very fortunate to be able to work in a casual environment that allows tube tops and ripped jeans. Summer in Chicago is heating up fast. I’m beating the heat with my hair tied up, comfy ripped jeans, and easy light-weight tube tops. My jeans, adorable bandana, and tube top are all from Target! Georgie is clearly not the biggest fan of this heat…
This white denim skirt from AKIRA is an absolute steal, on sale for $20.00. It’s super high-quality and fits like a glove (I got a size small). It’s stark white which I love, not a weird off-white denim. This look is super casual and easy for wearing to work, dinner and drinks, or out and about in the city.
I also really love this outfit that I wore for day one at Google. I have been searching all over for a cheetah midi skirt. Everything on Nordstrom is upwards of $50 dollars. The original skirt I found on Target from Wild Fable, had absolutely terrible reviews. This A New Day Leopard Pleated A-Line is super lightweight, the perfect length, and the print is absolutely adorable. AND it’s under $30!
The product I get dm’d the most about on Instagram is by far my necklaces, especially the CAM Jewelry Zodiac necklace. I finally decided it was about time I write a post.
I have been loving graphic tees lately and have been on the hunt for a Rolling Stones tee that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Full disclosure I am hoping on the Rolling Stones tee bandwagon because I not the hugest fan. Found this tee from Target for $12.99, such a steal.
Street festival season is finally here! There’s truly nothing like summertime in Chicago. Last night it was 80-degrees and a perfect night for walking around a fest. Of course, my sister and I had a blast in our matching outfits. I am obsessed with this floral print crop top from Zara that my friend Mer got me for my birthday. It’s the perfect pop of red and fits like a glove. The back is smocked so it makes the fit perfect.
